FAQs
What should I bring to practice?
A good attitude, water, and boxing hand wraps and gloves if you have them. The club has extra gear available to borrow for new members, but you’ll quickly realize that having your own is always best. Please also fill out your Do Sports Easy forms if you intend on remaining with the club, instructions for this can be found under the forms tab.
Will I get hit?
Nope! General fitness members do not participate in an contact drills. If you are interesting in sparring please find one of our coaches at practice for more details.
How do I become a student coach?
Coaching is a great way to become more involved in the club and strengthen relationships with fellow club members. All coaches are required one semester OSUBC experience and need to complete a short certification process. Please reach out to any of our coaches or email us if you are interested.
FORMS
GENERAL
Complete this as soon as possible so that you are officially cleared to practice with the club.
COMPETITIVE
INTERMDIATE
ImPACT Testing
This needs to be done by any members interested in sparring. It takes place in-person at the RPAC.
Get into contact with President Cece or Liam, for more info on how to schedule a test.
Once you have a test scheduled, make sure you arrive a few minutes early with a laptop and mouse, the test does not work well on iPads or cell phones.
Competitive members must obtain a passbook in order to compete. The passbook and USA Boxing membership are good for one year.
